We’re excited to announce the details for this year’s annual Sports Day! This promises to be a fantastic day of athletic achievement and school spirit.
Event Details
Venue: Charlton Athletic Track
Portway Industrial Estate West Portway
Andover, SP10 3LF
Timing: Students must arrive before 8:35am
Event finishes by 3:05pm
Getting There: Drop-Off and Parking
To ensure a smooth start to the day, please refer to the map below for designated drop-off and parking areas:
- Point 1 – Drop-off point where students can be dropped and walk through to the venue
- Point 2 – Turning circle for quick drop-off
- Point 3 – Car park available if you’re staying to watch and support

The day will feature both track and field events, giving all students the opportunity to showcase their athletic talents. Detailed programmes are available below:

Refreshments and Free School Meals
We anticipate that many students will bring a packed lunch and cold drink or water. We recommend that students bring plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Catering Services
Our caterers will be offering a barbecue service with the following options:
- Hotdog – £2
- Pork Burger – £2
- Homemade cold deli baguettes – £2.50
- Large water – £1
- Cookies – £1
There will also be a tuck shop run by the PTA.
Important Payment Information
Students will need to bring cash if they wish to buy food and beverages, as the biometric (cashless) system used in school will not be available at the venue.
Students entitled to free school meals will be provided for by the caterers.
Parents and Carers Wishing to Spectate
Parents, carers and families are welcome to spectate.
What You Need to Know:
- Parking: Please park safely in the designated car park (Point 3)
- Spectator areas: Make your way to the marked spectators’ areas on arrival
- Safeguarding: Due to safeguarding procedures, visitors will not be able to visit the areas where students are spectating
- Programme: A programme of events with approximate timings can be accessed above and via the link on the website home page pop up.
- Seating: Spectators will need to bring their own seats or be prepared to sit on the grass
Photography and Filming Policy
In line with all school events, there is a strict policy of no filming or photography by spectators. The school will take photographs, which will be shared with families after the event.
What Students Should Bring
- Full PE kit
- Sun cream and hat (weather dependent)
- Plenty of water
- Packed lunch (or cash to purchase food from the caterers/PTA)
- Cash for refreshments (biometric system will not be available)
