The school has four trained Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). Mrs Kim Hide, Assistant Headteacher - Strategic Senior DSL who leads on this area of school. She is supported by Mrs Karen Wilson Safeguarding Manager/ Operational Senior DSL, Mr Patrick Holmes DDSL, and Mrs Anna Hall, Assistant Headteacher DSL. The leads are clear about their role, have sufficient time and receive relevant support and training, to undertake their roles, which includes close contact with outside agencies, including social care, the Hampshire County Council Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)and relevant health care organisations.
