September FAQs
Q: Will I get a new planner?
A: Yes. Your tutor will give you your new planner for 2020/21 in your first tutor session in September
Q: What should I do about my locker?
A: If you already have a locker, and want one again for next year, keep the key and you continue to have that same locker from September.
If you had a locker last year but don’t want one next year, simply hand the keys back into reception when you return in September
If you didn’t have a locker last year, but want one from September, ask at main reception when you return
Q: Will I get a term 6 report ?
A: No. Reports have already been sent home which covered attitude to learning, attainment and progress at the end of Term 2 and Term 4. Another report in Term 6, which would only be based on your remote learning, would be inaccurate and unhelpful. It is difficult to accurately assess student progress through this type of learning.
Q: When will I get my new timetable?
A: Year 8 – 11 will have their new timetables posted home by the end of this term (22nd July). Year 7 will be given their timetable by their tutor on their first day in September.
